Can’t get over this delicious nourishing quinoa breakfast bowl with all the toppings. This creamy quinoa will surely fuel you up due to the protein-rich quinoa and peanut butter protein, as well as the healthy fats from barista range coconut milk and all these toppings. recipe below (I also added PURE).
✖️ Nourishing Quinoa Porridge (serves 1)
1/2 cup dried quinoa, rinsed
1/2 cup water
1 cup milk of choice
2 scoops protein powder
1 scoop PURE
Optional: 1 tsp Maca powder
- In a saucepan uncovered, bring rinsed quinoa and 1/2 cup water to boil. Meanwhile in a bottle shaker or blender blend together milk, protein powder, maca powder, and PURE.
- Cover and simmer on low heat until liquid is absorbed.
- Add the milk mixture to the saucepan and cook quinoa until desired consistency, for another 5 minutes.
- Serve in a bowl with toppings of choice e.g. fresh fruits, yogurt, granola, etc.
